I've heard since I was a kid that being successful is nice, but being able to always look yourself in the eye and not regret anything is even a little bit better. That's why I try to follow that not only in my professional life but also in my personal life. Additionally what my grandfather used to say - to know how to want. So I wish that as many of us as possible would want to... and if perhaps someone doesn't want to, then at least appreciate those who want to...

Ever since I was a child, I was drawn to jobs where I could interact with people. My original idea of becoming a bus driver, an actor and then a teacher was replaced at the Sports Gymnasium in Pardubice by the fixed idea that being a consultant in the legal field would be worthwhile. For everyone.

So in 2001 I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc and after a short intermezzo in the field of judicial executions (I was the first to collect my license as a bailiff's trainee), when I soon understood that this was not the way to go, I set out in 2002 to become a full-fledged lawyer. Working in the field of judicial foreclosures was not for me.

Between 2003 and 2008, I gained valuable experience at the leading international law firm WEINHOLD LEGAL, where I rose to the position of senior lawyer - a leading attorney specializing in providing legal services to a predominantly German clientele.

During my presence at WEINHOLD LEGAL, I attended a number of specialised seminars and training courses and completed many successful transactions.

Sometime during the holidays of 2008, I was offered the opportunity to build the legal team of the international consulting group Schaffer & Partner, where I worked as a founding partner of Schaffer & Partner Legal for an unforgettable thirteen years of my professional life until the autumn of 2021.

Building my own new law firm was an important milestone for me.

In 2021, which became a milestone for me not only in my professional but also in my personal life, I decided to build our new law firm EPPINGER & KOLÁROVÁ LEGAL with my friend and great lawyer.

In my professional life, I have long and gladly specialized in the field of private law, mainly in contract law, trust and intergenerational transfer of companies, mergers and acquisitions of companies, real estate law and court proceedings.

During my professional practice I have been involved in many international transactions of various sizes, including major cross-border acquisitions of multinational companies, complex restructurings of major holding companies, as well as international arbitrations and litigation.

I have also advised major banks, engineering and energy companies, particularly in the area of corporate law.

In addition to my law practice, I have been the President of the Czech-Turkish Joint Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and actively cooperate with Czech and Turkish companies in cross-border business cooperation.

Among other things, I am also very intensively involved in lecturing and publishing activities and am occasionally active in the media.

In my spare time I play golf sometimes more and sometimes less successfully, drive fast cars successfully so far, cook healthy meals and take care of my wonderful children, wife and dog.

I am fluent in English and German when needed.

I am honored to be listed as an attorney with the Czech Bar Association since 2005.

What my life has prepared me for so far

and what to expect from me:

  • Advocacy is about looking at solutions, not problems
  • A client should never get less than he asks for and should always get more than he expects
  • Individual approach and proactive listening to clients is the key to superior care
  • I'm not afraid to take a path that is not easy, I'm afraid to go somewhere where the path does not lead
  • If I think something, I say it, if I don't say it, it's for a good reason
  • Clients always know in advance how much our services will cost them
  • I'm not the smartest person in the world, that's what others are for
  • Where appropriate and necessary, I will give the client a different perspective and offer a course of action that combines legal, business and other aspects of the most optimal solution
  • The devil is in the detail - welcome to hell!
  • Name and reputation is more than money and fame
